Zip Flyer

Zip flying is one of the newest adventure sports introduced in Nepal, and can only be done on the high ground of Pokhara. It takes about 30 minutes of drive from lakeside to reach the zip lining spot on Sarangkot hill (1650 m). It is built at a beautiful location through the forest from where you will get a panoramic view of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993 m) and the Annapurna range as well as the other side of the valley.

It is one of the longest and steepest zip lines in the world which is about 1860 m long. From the top of the zip lining spot to the bottom at Hemja, you will be cruising at the speed of 140 km/hr. In just 2 minutes, you will be traveling about 1.8 km to reach the bottom of the zip lining spot.

To indulge in this zip flying experience, you have to be in Pokhara. Get your cameras ready for photos and videos to document your experience of 2 minutes long zip lining through the dense forest. Two people will be launched at once side by side. It is like racing to see who will reach at the bottom first.

Remember to open your eyes during zip lining or you will be missing fun and the stunning view of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre range, roaring Seti River, and Pokhara valley itself.
